Based IWFS Defensive Handgun Training

IWFS Defensive Combat Shooting Level 1 is a structured handgun course focused on safety, awareness, controlled response and practical application. The course builds on prior pistol-operation training and introduces foundational defensive shooting concepts under supervised IWFS instruction. Entry is subject to prerequisite completion and instructor assessment.

The course is conducted at IWFS Tactical Sports Theme Park in Phuket. All classroom instruction, dry-practice procedures and supervised live-fire training are conducted under IWFS instructor guidance and established range safety requirements.

Training hours:

08:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Advance booking and prerequisite confirmation are required.

IWFS Safety Requirements
  • Participants under 20 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Participants who are under the influence of alcohol, or who consumed a large amount of alcohol the previous day, are not allowed to enter the range.
  • Please bring your passport or valid ID.
  • All participants must follow IWFS instructor and range safety staff instructions.
  • Photography is permitted only when safe and under on-site guidance.
  • IWFS may stop any activity immediately if safety requirements are violated.
  • Course participation and progression remain subject to instructor assessment.

Next Learning Path

After completing Defensive Combat Shooting Level 1, students may continue into selected IWFS handgun, multi-firearm or customized training pathways according to prerequisites, performance and instructor assessment.

Defensive Combat Shooting Level 2

Continued development of defensive handgun safety, movement, decision-making and controlled practical application.

Multi-Firearm Practical Shooting

A structured training direction involving selected pistol, PCC, rifle or shotgun operating platforms.

Private Customized Training

Customized training arranged according to participant level, objectives, available time and instructor assessment.

Completion of Level 1 does not automatically guarantee entry into higher-level courses. Instructor assessment and course prerequisites apply.
